Pray for Those in Authority

The Apostle Paul began the second chapter of his letter to Timothy with a call to prayer, comprehensive in its scope. Paul encouraged Timothy to pray for all people, but he went on to specifically request prayer for those in authority. Pastor Jim explores why prayer is of central importance to Paul and why even in a place like Ephesus, prone to persecution and abuses of power, leaders should be prayed for. Pastor Jim also gives advice on how believers and congregations can continue to implement Paul’s advice.
