An Introduction to the Podcast

We want to take a few minutes to introduce you to this podcast. What we hope to offer you are an ongoing series of conversations around life, faith, and leadership. My name is Chase Replogle and I’m a pastor in Springfield, Missouri, and the host of the Pastor Writer podcast. 

I’ve known pastor Jim for a long time. First, as a college student sitting under his preaching at Central Assembly, then as a staff member at that church. I have several credential cards with his signature and it was our honor to have him officiate our wedding eleven years ago. I’ve listened to him speak as a pastor, as a scientist, as a leader in our fellowship, and standing on some of the great Holy Land sites. 

Over and over Jim has won my respect and admiration. He is humble, wise, and always generous. I’m excited to be helping with this podcast because Jim has helped me through so much of life and ministry. His unique path to ministry and perspective on “spiritual leadership” is desperately needed in the church today. 

So, what we hope this podcast will be is a wide-ranging series of conversations to help you grow as a person and as a spiritual leader. In this first episode, we take a few moments to introduce one another and introduce you to what’s to come.
